Liberhan panel gets 42nd extension -
The Liberhan Commission probing the circumstances leading to demolition of Babri Masjid , got its 42nd extension.The term of the commission was setup almost soon after the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition, has been extended by two months upto December 2007.

GDP up by 9.3 percent , inflation below 4 percent -
Indian economy continue to perform better and better.In the first quarter of this fiscal 9.3 percent rise in GDP.GDP growt is driven by manufacturing, construction and services sector, and even agriculture sector.

The high growth in the first quarter is 9.4 percent during 2006-07, the fastest growth in 18 years.The government's fiscal steps and RBI's monetary interventions come down inflation to below 4 percent at 3.94 percent during the week ended August 18 for the first time in more than 15 months.
