Hansika Motwani (Sindhi) is an Indian actress born on 9 August 1991 and a former child actress. She has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil films.

Hansika Motwani was born in Mumbai, India. Her father Pradeep Motwani is a businessman, and her mother is Seema Motwani, a dermatologist. Hansika attended Podar International School, Mumbai and enrolled for BA in political science at Cambridge University, London as correspondence course. Hansika mainly speaks Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, English, Hindi and Tulu, although her native tongue is Sindhi. She is learning Tamil as she made debut in the Tamil film industry.
Hansika Motwani started her career as a chil artist in Shakalaka Boom Boom (T.V Serial),it is a story about a boy named Sanju and his magic pencil. And at the same time , she also enacted a child role in the Indian serial Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chaand, for which she received the Favorite Child Award at the Star Parivaar Awards. She also appeared as one of the children in Koi Mil Gaya with Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan.
Hansika made her debut in a lead role in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film, Desamuduru, starring opposite Allu Arjun. The film was about a crime reporter who falls in love with a sanyasini, played by Hansika.
Hansika made her debut as a leading actress in Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Kaa Surroor – The Real Luv Story. She played the role of Himesh Reshammiya's lover Ria. The film was released on 29 June 2007 and was a moderate hit. She will also appear in the Hindi film titled He: The Only One, where she will be essaying the role of a killer, hell-bent on taking revenge for her family.
Hansika made her Kannada debut in Bindaas with Puneet Rajkumar. The film was released on 15 February 2008. She paired with Jr. NTR in the film Kantri, which was released in May 2008. The film was a moderate hit. She made her Tamil film debut in the 2011 film Mappillai opposite Dhanush, following which her next Tamil film. Engeyum Kadhal opposite Jayam Ravi released. फिल्मकार प्रकाश झा को अपनी फिल्म 'आरक्षण' के लिए काफी दिक्कतों का सामना कर पड़ रहा था ये तो हम सब ही जानते है मगर पहले ही सप्ताह में इस फिल्म ने 58.5 करोड़ रुपये का बिजनेस किया है। और ये फिल्म लोगों को काफी पसंद आ रही है
प्रकाश झा इन आकड़ों को देखकर कहते हैं की इससे मै खुश हूं कि लोगों को मेरी फिल्म काफी पसंद आ रही है। वहीं दूसरी ओर उत्तर प्रदेश में आरक्षण पर लगी रोक हट गई है। आरक्षण पर लगी सरकारी रोक के आदेश को शुक्रवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने निरस्त कर दिया था। पंजाब और आंध्र प्रदेश में एक दिन बाद ही फिल्म के प्रदर्शन पर से रोक हटा ली गई थी।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज एम.शर्मा और जज अनिल.आर.दवे की दो सदस्यीय खंडपीठ ने कहा कि सरकार फिल्म पर इस तरह का विरोध जता नहीं सकती इसका हक केवल सेंसर बोर्ड को हैं। खंडपीठ ने कहा कि एक बार जब केंद्रीय फिल्म प्रमाणन बोर्ड ने इसके प्रदर्शन की मंजूरी प्रदान कर दी है तो उसके बाद कोई सरकार उसकी कहानी पर कोई विरोध नहीं कर सकती।
आरक्षण फिल्म 12 अगस्त को देश में प्रदर्शित हुई थी। अब उत्तर प्रदेश के लोग भी इस फिल्म को देख सकेंगे। वहीं इस फिल्म को लांच करने के पहले काफी विवाद भी उभर कर सामने आए थे। लोगों ने इस पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का विरोध भी किया था।

छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य अनुसूचित जनजाति आयोग ने 'आरक्षण' फिल्म को राज्य में टैक्स फ्री करने की माग की है।
आधिकारिक सूत्रों ने शुक्रवार को यहा बताया कि छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य अनुसूचित जनजाति आयोग के अध्यक्ष देवलाल दुग्गा ने मुख्यमंत्री रमन सिंह को आयोग की ओर से ज्ञापन सौंपकर प्रकाश झा की फिल्म 'आरक्षण' को छत्तीसगढ़ में टैक्स फ्री करने का आग्रह किया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने दुग्गा का ज्ञापन वाणिज्यिक कर विभाग के सचिव को भेजकर इस संबंध में आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने का निर्देश दिया है।
दुग्गा ने मुख्यमंत्री से कहा है कि यह फिल्म शिक्षाप्रद और प्रेरणादायक भी है। आयोग के अध्यक्ष ने मुख्यमंत्री को सौंपे ज्ञापन में राज्य की नई पीढ़ी के लिए इस फिल्म का प्रदर्शन प्रोजेक्टरों के माध्यम से छत्तीसगढ़ के सभी स्कूल-कॉलेजों में करवाने का भी आग्रह किया है।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री ने उनके सुझावों को स्वागत योग्य बताया और कहा कि दुग्गा की यह पहल निश्चित रूप से सराहनीय है, जिन्होंने राज्य अनुसूचित जनजाति आयोग, अनुसूचित जाति आयोग और अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग आयोग के पदाधिकारियों के साथ स्वयं टॉकिज में जाकर इस फिल्म को देखा और इसे शिक्षाप्रद पाकर टैक्स फ्री करने की अनुशसा की है।
दुग्गा ने मुख्यमंत्री को बताया कि इस फिल्म के बारे में देशभर के समाचार माध्यमों में कई प्रकार की खबरें आ रही थीं, जिन्हें गंभीरता से लेकर छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य अनुसूचित जनजाति आयोग ने अन्य दोनों आयोगों के पदाधिकारियों को साथ लेकर इस महीने की 12 तारीख को यहा फिल्म को देखा। उन्होंने कहा कि यह फिल्म राज्य के अनुसूचित वर्गो और अन्य पिछड़ा वर्गो के लिए अत्यंत उपयोगी साबित होगी, क्योंकि इसमें आरक्षण के बारे में संवैधानिक पहलुओं को तथ्यात्मक रूप से प्रस्तुत किया गया है। फिल्म शिक्षाप्रद और प्रेरणादायक है।
दुग्गा ने कहा कि अगर इस फिल्म को छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार टैक्स मुक्त कर दे और स्कूल-कॉलेजों में छात्र-छात्राओं को भी इसे दिखाया जाए तो समाज के हर वर्ग के लोग शिक्षा और आरक्षण की जरूरत को समझकर उसके यथार्थ से परिचित हो सकेंगे।
कानपुर।। उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने प्रकाश झा की विवादित फिल्म 'आरक्षण' पर भले ही रोक लगा दी हो, मगर कानपुर में इसकी पाइरेटेड सीडी और डीवीडी गली-मोहल्लों में ठेलों और दुकानों पर धड़ल्ले से बिक रही है। विवादों में रहने के कारण फिल्म की मांग बहुत ज्यादा है और कीमत 20 रुपए होने के कारण लोग इसे खूब खरीद रहे हैं।
गौरतलब है कि आरक्षण फिल्म पिछले शुक्रवार को उत्तर प्रदेश और कुछ अन्य राज्यों को छोड़कर रिलीज हो गई है। विवादों के कारण स्थानीय लोग इसे देखने में बहुत दिलचस्पी ले रहे हैं। शहर के परेड मार्केट, बिरहाना रोड, सोमदत्त प्लाजा, पी.रोड, सागर मार्केट आदि में फिल्म की सीडी और डीवीडी खुलेआम बिक रही है। बिरहाना रोड पर ठेले पर सीडी और डीवीडी का कारोबार करने वाले एक व्यक्ति ने बताया कि फिल्म रिलीज होने के अगले दिन पाइरेटेड सीडी हमारे पास आ गई थी। लोगों में क्रेज ज्यादा होने के कारण शनिवार को सीडी 50 रुपए में बिकी, मगर अब यह 20 रुपए में उपलब्ध है। सीडी और डीवीडी के प्रिंट के बारे में पूछने पर उन्होंने कहा पायरेटेड सीडी का प्रिंट साफ नहीं होता, मगर समझने लायक जरूर होता है।
कानपुर के एडीएम सिटी शैलेन्द्र सिंह ने इस मुद्दे पर कहा कि उन्हें इसकी सूचना मिली है और वह मनोरंजन विभाग और पुलिस को सीडी बेचने वाली दुकानों पर छापा मारने और सीडी जब्त कर दोषियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई करने का आदेश दे चुके हैं।

India successfully conducts trial of BrahMos supersonic guided missile (India Russia Partnership Deep Rooted)

India successfully conducted the user trial of a BrahMos supersonic guided missile capable of hitting targets that may otherwise be inaccessible like in hilly areas, defence ministry sources said.
Indian Army has tested a supersonic missile, the BrahMos Block III, Trial was conducted in Pokhran in the Thar desert region of Rajasthan.
The BrahMos can be used in the mountainous terrain along the Pakistani and Chinese border.
It is a stealth supersonic cruise missile that can be launched for ground targets from a very low height - as low as 10 metres. It is believed to be best for surgical operations as it has a very low radar signature.
The BrahMos missile has a range of 290 km and can carry a conventional warhead of up to 300 kg.
BrahMos Aerospace Ltd, set up in 1998 as a joint venture of India and Russia, manufactures supersonic cruise missiles based on the Russian-designed NPO Mashinostroyenie 3M55 Yakhont.
It can be launched from submarines, ships and aircraft. Sea- and ground-launched versions of the missile have been successfully tested and put into service with the Indian Army and navy
Some sources suggest it is better than Tomhok Cruise Missile of USA.

चवन्नी गई तो क्या, अब आ रहा है 1,000 रु. का सिक्का
वित्त मंत्रालय ने चवन्नी को भले ही चलन से बाहर कर दिया हो, लेकिन संसद ने 1,000 रुपये का सिक्का चलाने का रास्ता साफ कर दिया है। राज्य सभा ने गुरुवार को कॉइन्स बिल 2009 को पारित कर दिया।
लोकसभा ने इसे पहले ही पारित कर दिया था। इससे सरकार को सिक्कों से जुड़ी अन्य बातों के अलावा 1,000 रुपये तक के सिक्के जारी करने का भी अधिकार मिल गया।
वित्त मंत्री प्रणब मुखर्जी ने राज्य सभा में इस विधेयक पर चर्चा के बाद पर जवाब देते हुए बताया कि इससे देश में 1,000 रुपये तक के सिक्के चलने का रास्ता प्रशस्त होगा। यही नहीं, जरूरत के हिसाब से नए टकसाल (मिंट) खोले या बंद किये जा सकेंगे। हालांकि सदस्यों ने यह भी कहा कि एक हजार रुपये का सिक्का रहने से काले धन के संचय को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
इस पर वित्त मंत्री का कहना था कि अभी 1,000 रुपये का सिक्का नहीं ढाला जा रहा है। इस विधेयक में यह व्यवस्था है कि जब जरूरत पड़े इतनी राशि का सिक्का छाप ले। सिक्के पर ही उन्होंने चवन्नी की चर्चा करते हुए कहा कि यह जन मानस से जुड़ा है, तब भी इसे हटाना पड़ा। यह समय की मांग है। छोटे सिक्के समय और जरूरत के हिसाब से ही ठीक होते हैं। उन्होंने अंग्रेजी राज की चर्चा करते हुए कहा कि उस समय एक पैसा ही नहीं बल्कि पेनी चलता था।
उस समय तीन पेनी का एक पैसा होता था। उस समय पेनी में भी काफी सामान मिल जाता था। जैसे जैसे समय बदला, पेनी क्या एक दो तीन पांच दस और बीस पैसे के सिक्के भी बंद हो गए। कॉइन्स एक्ट में सिक्केगलाने वालों या इसका दुरुपयोग करने वालों के लिए सख्त सजा का प्रावधान किया गया है।
अब यदि कोई सिक्कों को गलाएगा तो उसे सात साल की सख्त सजा हो सकती है। इसी दौरान उन्होंने कहा कि देश में नियंत्रक एवं महालेखा परीक्षक (सीएजी) तथा आयकर विभाग के 150 वर्ष पूरे हो गए हैं। इन दोनों संस्थानों की तरफ से भी इस स्मृति में सिक्के जारी करने का अनुरोध प्राप्त हुआ है। इसे पूरा भी किया जाएगा।

आपको जल्दी ही बाजार में 150 रुपए का सिक्का देखने को मिल जाएगा। दरअसल भारत में कराधान के 150 वर्ष पूरे होने के मौके पर 150 रुपए के सिक्के जारी किए जाएंगे।
ये विशेष सिक्के वित्त मंत्री प्रणब मुखर्जी द्वारा बजट भाषण से ठीक पहले जारी किए जाएँगे। आयकर विभाग का 150 वर्ष 2010 में पूरा हो गया। विभाग ने 1860 में काम करना शुरू किया था।
वित्त मंत्रालय के आर्थिक मामलों के विभाग ने हाल ही में एक अधिसूचित किया कि पहली बार सरकार द्वारा 150 रुपये के सिक्कों की ढलाई की जा रही है। ये सिक्के चाँदी, ताँबा, निकेल एवं जस्ता से बनें होंगे और इन पर एक ओर ‘सत्यमेव जयते’ और ‘भारत’ का नक्शा होगा। तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ मधुक्मक्खी के साथ चाणक्य एवं कमल के प्रतीक होंगे

Beth was raised in Elmira, New York. When she was eleven years old, she won a coloring contest with a prize of tickets to a television taping for World Wrestling Federation. Beth credits this as when she fell in love with professional wrestling. Elizabeth Kocianski Carolan (born November 24, 1980) is an American professional wrestler, currently signed to WWE where she wrestles on the WWE Raw brand under the ring name Beth Phoenix
Beth had a successful amateur wrestling career in high school, before being trained by the All Knighters. After her debut in May 2001, she wrestled for numerous independent promotions, and was the inaugural GLORY Champion. She also appeared at the inaugural Shimmer shows. In 2004, she began working for Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), and signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in October 2005. She first debuted on WWE's Raw brand in May 2006, but suffered a legitimate broken jaw the following month. As a result, she had numerous surgeries and returned to OVW for further training. While there, she twice won the OVW Women's Championship, although her second reign is not officially recognized.
She returned to the Raw brand in July 2007, and was heavily pushed, dominating the other WWE Divas and gaining the nickname, "The Glamazon". She won her first WWE Women's Championship at the No Mercy pay-per-view in October, and held it for six months. Beth began wrestling on the Elmira, New York Notre Dame High School scholastic wrestling team. She was the first female varsity wrestler in her high school's history. She became the North-East freestyle women's champion (72 kg weight class) in 1999. She also became the women's champion (72 kg weight class) at the New York State Fair Tournament in 1999.At the time she was also a member of USA Wrestling, a freestyle wrestling association.Her life goal was, according to her, to become a professional wrestler, and she believed that having a solid amateur background would help her reach it.

On the July 9, 2007 episode of Raw, Phoenix returned as a villain, teaming with Jillian Hall, and the two lost to Candice Michelle and Mickie James. At the SummerSlam pay-per-view, Phoenix won the Interpromotional Divas battle royal to become the number one contender for Michelle's WWE Women's Championship.Phoenix was then pushed as a dominating Diva, calling herself a "Glamazon" and attacking Mickie James, Jillian Hall and Michelle on the September 10 episode of Raw. At Unforgiven, however, she failed to capture the Women's Championship from Candice Michelle. Their storyline rivalry continued when Phoenix pinned Michelle during a non-title mixed tag team match on Raw on September 24.At the No Mercy pay-per-view in October, Phoenix defeated Michelle to win her first WWE Women's Championship.She retained her belt on the October 22 Raw in a two out of three falls match, in which Candice Michelle was injured by Phoenix shaking the rope, causing her to fall off the top turnbuckle and legitimately break her clavicle.
Phoenix as the WWE Women's Champion.During a 10-Diva Tag match at Survivor Series, Phoenix's team lost after Melina was pinned by Mickie James. On the November 26 episode of Raw, James defeated Melina in a number one contenders match for Phoenix's Women's Championship, setting up a title match between the two at Armageddon, a match in which Phoenix successfully defended her Women's title. On New Year's Eve 2007, Phoenix successfully defended her title in a Triple Threat match against Melina and James, after pinning Melina.
Phoenix along with then-ally Melina took part in the Playboy BunnyMania Lumberjack match at WrestleMania XXIV where she defeated Ashley and Maria by pinfall.On April 14, Phoenix faced Mickie James with her Women's Championship on the line and lost, ending her reign as champion. Phoenix also had a rematch on the May 5 episode of Raw but lost after Melina unintentionally hit her in the face with her boot. On the May 11 episode of Raw, Phoenix and Melina partnered up to go against James and Maria. During the match, Melina unintentionally knocked Phoenix off of the ring apron, resulting in Phoenix abandoning Melina which allowed James and Maria to pick up the win. Later that night, in a backstage segment, Melina and Phoenix fought with one another, ending their alliance.At Judgment Day, Phoenix failed to regain the Women's Championship in a Triple Threat match after James pinned Melina to retain the title.At One Night Stand Phoenix defeated Melina in the first ever Divas "I Quit" match. After little over a month off television, Phoenix returned on the July 14 edition of Raw, where she defeated Santino Marella after he issued an open challenge to any WWE Superstar backstage, pinning him with a roll-up.The storyline continued the following week after Marella lost to the returning D-Lo Brown. Phoenix confronted Marella after the match, and they briefly grappled with each other before unexpectedly sharing a kiss, to which both expressed considerable confusion.
The two then became an onscreen supercouple, and the pairing of The Glamazon and Marella later became known by the portmanteau Glamarella.Within the team she acted as the "straight-woman" of sorts, berating Marella or reacting in disbelief to his over the top, embarrassing antics. At SummerSlam, they defeated Kofi Kingston and Mickie James in an intergender tag team match. Phoenix pinned James, winning the Women's Championship, while Marella won Kingston's Intercontinental Championship. She successfully defended the Women's Championship against Candice Michelle at No Mercy.
On December 8, 2008, she received the "Slammy Award" for Diva of the Year.Phoenix then began feuding with Melina, who returned from injury in November 2008. This storyline included the debut of Rosa Mendes, who was introduced as Phoenix's superfan. At the Royal Rumble in January 2009, Phoenix lost the Women's Championship to Melina.At WrestleMania XXV, Phoenix competed in the 25 Diva battle royal, but was eliminated by Marella, who competed in drag, claiming to be his twin sister "Santina".After WrestleMania, Glamarella split as Phoenix was unhappy with Santino pretending to be his twin sister 'Santina'. On the October 12 episode of Raw, it was announced that Phoenix had been traded to the SmackDown brand for the first time in her career. Phoenix made her in-ring debut for the brand on the October 30 episode of SmackDown, defeating Jenny Brooks, an "enhancement talent".In January 2010, at the Royal Rumble, she entered the Royal Rumble match, eliminating The Great Khali, before she was eliminated by CM Punk. With her entry, she became only the second woman in history to enter the Royal Rumble match, with the first being Chyna.
On the March 12 episode of SmackDown, Phoenix saved Tiffany from an attack by Vickie Guerrero, Michelle McCool and Layla, in doing so becoming a fan favorite. She then went on to defeat Michelle McCool and Layla in a tag team match with Tiffany. The feud with McCool continued at WrestleMania XXVI, where they were on opposing teams in a 10-Diva tag team match, which Phoenix's team lost, although they won a rematch the following night on Raw. Phoenix received a match for the Women's Championship against McCool at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in April, and defeated McCool in an "Extreme Makeover" match to win her third Women's Championship. On the May 6 episode of WWE Superstars, Phoenix tore her ACL in a match against Rosa Mendes, and as a result, one week later on SmackDown, McCool invoked her rematch clause to face Phoenix in a two-on-one handicap match along with Layla. Phoenix lost her championship when she was pinned by Layla. With the win, Layla and McCool would call themselves co-Women's Champions.
Phoenix returned from her injury at November's Survivor Series pay-per-view and attacked the former co-Champions Michelle McCool and Layla after they lost the Divas Championship to Natalya. Phoenix and Natalya then formed an alliance and at the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view in December, Phoenix and Natalya defeated Lay-Cool in the first Diva's tag team Tables match in WWE history.
