Particles, smaller than the size of an atom, have been observed moving faster than the speed of light.


A research team led by Antonio Ereditato - coordinator of the Opera collaboration (Oscillation Project with Emulsion-tRacking Apparatus) - have found the time it would take for neutrinos – which are subatomic particles - to travel 730 kilometers from CERN labs, Geneva. to their lab under a mountain in Gran Sasso, Italy.




Their particles arrived 60 billionths of a second faster than particles traveling at the speed of light.

The error in their experiment is just 10 billionths of a second.

Jeff Forshaw, a professor of particle physics at Britain's Manchester University, told Reuters the results, if confirmed would mean it would be possible to "send information into the past." Being able to send information faster-than-light is, by Einstein's theory of relativity, equivalent to time travel.

"If something travels faster than the cosmic speed limit, then it becomes possible to send information (through time) into the past" said Professor Forshaw.

 एक्टर से डायरेक्टर बने पंकज कपूर की ‘ मौसम ’ को देखकर लगता है , बतौर डायरेक्टर उन्हें अपनी फिल्म के हर सीन से कुछ ऐसा लगाव हुआ कि फिल्म जब एडिटिंग टेबल पर पहुंची , तो उन्होंने एडिटर की कैंची को चलने ही नहीं दिया।

पंकज अगर चालीस मिनट की फिल्म पर कैंची चला देते तो फिल्म दर्शकों की हर क्लास को बांधने में कामयाब होती। इस फिल्म को देखते हुए आपको ऐसा लगेगा जैसे आप एकता कपूर का कोई ऐसा लंबा सीरियल देख रहे हैं , जो खत्म होने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। पंजाब के एक छोटे से कस्बे से शुरू हुई कहानी कारगिल वॉर , कश्मीर , गुजरात , अयोध्या से होते हुए स्कॉटलैंड , 9/11 तक पहुंचती तो है , लेकिन दर्शकों को अपने साथ बांध नहीं पाती।

 
 

कहानी : पंजाब के एक छोटे से गांव मल्लूकोट में सरकारी चिठ्ठी का इंतजार कर रहे हरिंदर सिंह उर्फ हैरी ( शाहिद कपूर ) को कश्मीर से अपनी बुआ के घर आई आयत ( सोनम कपूर ) से प्यार हो जाता है। थोड़ी आंख - मिचौली के बाद हैरी और आयत एक दूसरे को चाहने लगते हैं। इस बीच घटी बाबरी मस्जिद घटना के बाद अचानक दोनों जुदा हो जाते हैं। करीब सात साल बाद हैरी और आयत एक दूसरे से फिर मिलते हैं।

स्कॉटलैंड में अपने अब्बू और चाचू के साथ रह रही आयत की मुलाकात यहां ट्रेनिंग पर पहुंचे हैरी से होती है। हैरी अब एयरफोर्स में फाइटर पायलट है , वहीं आयत एक ओपेरा ग्रुप में म्यूजिशियन और डांसर है। इसी बीच हैरी को आयत को छोड़ अचानक शुरू हुई कारगिल वॉर में हिस्सा लेने के लिए भारत लौटना पड़ता है।

इस युद्घ में हैरी बुरी तरह से घायल हो जाता है। हैरी की तलाश में आयत गांव आती है , लेकिन उसे हैरी का पता नहीं चल पाता। आयत गांव में रहने वाली रज्जो ( अदिति शर्मा ) को हैरी के नाम की चिठ्ठी देकर वापस लौट जाती है , लेकिन रज्जो इस खत को हैरी तक नहीं पहुंचाती क्योंकि उसे भी हैरी से प्यार है।


इसके बाद की कहानी कभी गुजरात दंगों तो कभी 9/11 से अनचाहे जुड़ती जाती है , लेकिन हमारी हिंदी फिल्मों की तर्ज पर आखिर में हीरो - हिरोइन का मिलन होता है।

कुल मिलाकर इस प्रेम कहानी में कुछ ऐसे दृश्य हैं जो दिल को छूते हैं, लेकिन पूरी फिल्म के बारे में यह बात नहीं कही जा सकती।
 
यदि यह फिल्म एक घंटे छोटी कर दी जाए तो न केवल फिल्म की गति तेज हो जाएगी बल्कि दर्शकों का ध्यान भी फिल्म की कमियों की ओर नहीं जाएगा। 20-ट्वेंटी के इस युग में दर्शक को इतनी देर बांध कर रखना बहुत ही मुश्किल काम है।

फर्स्ट हाफ ठीक है हालांकि इंटरवेल 1 घंटे 30 मिनट बाद हिट होता है। सेकेंड हाफ में कई शहरों में प्रेमियों के मिलने बिछुड़ने का सिलसिला फिर शुरू होता है जो खत्म होने का नाम नहीं लेता।
 
2 घंटे 50 मिनट लंबी और स्लो फिल्म 'मौसम' ने मुझे थका दिया। कुदरत ने भी साल में तीन मौसम बनाए हैं जो 4− 4 महीने में चले जाते हैं लेकिन पंकज कपूर का एक ही 'मौसम' खत्म होने का नाम नहीं लेता। 'मौसम' के लिए मेरी रेटिंग है 2 स्टार

Railway ministry objects to Shahid's stunt scene in 'Mausam'


As recently many chidren/ ill-minded persons are doing stunt in Railway Trains - in Mumbai, Faridabad-Ballabhgarh etc.

And some are injured severely. And now a movie comes with similar stunt for which Railway authority already tried / stop showing such things from Youtubes etc,

Shahid Kapoor performs a scene in which he crosses a railway track with his four wheeler car just before a moment of train comes.

In Mumbai, Many Train stunts comes in these days, And it is a alarming signal to railway to handle such
idiotic stunts. Many children/ill-minded people inspire through this movie and can become problem to Railway authorities/ danzer to life.

Railway ministry has written to the producers of the movie asking them to write a warning note during these scenes.


The movie had earlier raised hackles of Air Force which objected to a 30-second aerial action sequence with Shahid who plays an Air Force pilot.


Last week, the Indian Air Force (IAF) had objected to certain action scenes in the film, where the actor plays the role of a fighter pilot.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had on Thursday refused to stay the release of the film over its title issue. The censor board had cleared two films with the same title Mausam. So the producer director of the other movie, Nawman Malik, approached the apex court seeking a stay on Pankaj Kapur's Mausam. However, the court said it was too late to impose a ban on the release on the movie when it was about to release

Former India captain Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi Expired at the age of 70 Yrs (Birth Date: 5 January 1941- 22 September 2011)

Mansoor Ali Khan or Mansur Ali Khan Urdu: منصور علی خان), sometimes M.A.K. Pataudi (Birth Date: 5 January 1941- 22 September 2011) in Bhopal), nicknamed Tiger, was a former Indian cricketer and former captain of the Indian cricket team. He was the 9th and last Nawab of Pataudi until 1971, when India abolished royal entitlements through the 26th Amendment to the Constitution of India. He died on September 22nd 2011 suffering from lung infection at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi.

He was found to be suffering from interstitial lung disease, a condition in which the passage of oxygen to the two lungs is less than normal

"He was unable to maintain his oxygen level in spite of maximal treatment. He continued to remain in the ICU for nearly a month. He had this disease which had been static since the last three months and worsened very acutely over the last four weeks.

"The possibility of lung transplant was discussed very early as soon as his condition worsened but he was not a suitable candidate for it," the doctor said.

He was being treated by a by a team of pulmonologists and critical care specialists here.

Pataudi, regarded as one of the finest Indian captains, played 46 Tests for the country, scoring 2793 runs for an average of 34.91 with an unbeaten 203 being his highest score

Mansoor was born to Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, eighth Nawab of Pataudi and his wife Sajida Sultan, second daughter of the last ruling nawab of Bhopal. He was educated at Welham Boys' School in Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Lockers Park Prep School in Hertfordshire, Winchester College, and Balliol College, Oxford. His father died on Mansoor's 11th birthday in 1952, whereupon Mansoor succeeded as the ninth Nawab of Pataudi. While the princely state of Pataudi had been merged with India after the end of the British Raj in 1947, Mansoor inherited the titular dignity of Nawab of Pataudi. He held the title until the entitlements were abolished by the Government of India through the 22nd amendment to the constitution in 1971.

In March 1962, Mansoor was elevated to the captaincy of the Indian cricket team. He had a batting average of 34.Mansoor was captain of the Indian cricket team in 40 matches, only 9 of which resulted in victory for his team. He was dropped as captain of the Indian cricket team in 1970, and as a player in 1975.

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress and model who works in Bollywood films. She is a former beauty queen who won the Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006. She has received an International Indian Film Academy Award and Stardust Award for Best Female Debut in 2010, for her role in the Indian film Aladin.

Born in Colombo, Western Province Fernandez comes from a Burgher family in Sri Lanka. At the age of three her family moved to Bahrain. In Bahrain, she studied at the The Sacred Heart School. While schooling she participated in many co-curricular activities including ballet, drama and athletics. After graduating from the Murrey University in Melbourne, Australia with a degree for mass media studies, she chose modelling as her profession, providing her service to a number of fashion designers in Australia, Singapore, Dubai and Sri Lanka.

Career - Career beginnings (2006–10)In March 2006, Fernandez was crowned the Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2006. She also competed in Miss Universe 2006.

After competing at Miss Universe, she worked as an anchor on Lanka Business Report and wrote a weekly column for The Daily Mirror while modeling in India.
Fernandez made her acting debut in the 2009 Bollywood fantasy movie Aladin directed by Sujoy Gosh alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, and Ritesh Deshmukh. She played the character of Jasmine, the new girl in college who has come from America.

2010 saw her once again appearing alongside Ritesh Deshmukh again in the romantic comedy Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai. She also had a cameo appearance in Sajid Khan's Housefull in a song called 'Apni tho Jaise Theise' which was a big success. The film starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role while Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Arjun Rampal featured in supporting roles.

Breakthrough (2011–Present)In 2011, Fernandez appeared in her third film, Murder 2, which went on to become her first box office success, receiving blockbuster status. As of September 2011, Fernandez is expected to appear in Tamil film Mankatha in a special appearance, while Housefull 2 and Raaz 3 feature her in full-fledged roles. She will also do an item number for Total Dhamaal and has replaced Chitrangada Singh For Krrish 2.
